Pillow Box Alligator Valentine

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!

Skip to My Lou usually has some good (free) crafts for kiddos.  This year, I found this ADORABLE alligator pillow box cut out.

I used my Silhouette cutting machine to cut out (and score the folds) 10 alligators.  I folded and glued the alligators together.

Then I let the 3.5 year old decorate all the alligators with glitter glue and sequins.

We glued on various sized googley eyes, giving them all different personalities!

I found gummy gators on amazon (affiliate link).  In my 1.5 pound bag, I got 174 alligators that were 2 inches long and about ½ inch wide.  I put about 10 gators in a candy bag, tied it off with a ribbon, and slid them into the pillow box.

Everyone really seemed to like these.  Maureen had fun "crafting" with me.  And all the folding and glueing was entertaining for me.  Just don't leave this craft until the night before you need 'em.  They took a little bit to get it all together!

Happy Creating!
